Are you accepting new patients?

Absolutely! We are always happy to welcome new patients to our Balboa Dentistry family.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most PPO dental plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, and MetLife. Please contact us to verify your specific plan, network status, and benefits before your visit.

Will my dental insurance plan cover my visit?

Dental insurance often covers only part of the cost. Benefits, limits, and out-of-pocket costs depend on your plan and treatment. We can verify your coverage and provide a treatment estimate before care begins.

What happens at my first visit?

We'll review your dental and medical history, take any necessary X-rays, perform a cleaning if time allows, and discuss your oral health goals.

How much is the cost for cleaning?

A routine cleaning typically costs between $95 and $150. For new patients, a full visit with X-rays and exam can range from $150 to $300. If you have dental insurance, cleanings are usually 100% covered. We'll check your benefits before your visit.

Do you offer same-day or emergency visits?

We prioritize dental emergencies and do our best to arrange same-day care. Please call (858) 277-5141 promptly so we can assess availability and the next step; same-day appointments are not guaranteed.

Do you offer cleanings and exams?

Yes. We provide comprehensive cleanings, exams, and X-rays.

Where are you located?

We are located at 5222 Balboa Ave, Suite 72, San Diego, CA 92117, in Clairemont Mesa West. Free patient parking is available in front and behind the building.

What are your office hours?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
